Coffee buyers support farmers through attaching agronomists

Coffee buyers have positioned agronomists along the coffee belt, focusing on guiding farmers on adherence to procedures and the production of high-quality coffee.In the counties of Murang’a, Nyeri, Kirinyaga and Embu, the Smart Harvest learned that the coffee dealers have engaged agronomists in the factories with a strict instruction they regularly engage the farmers in their farms,  and educate them to manage trees focusing on achieving quality coffee.Kahuhia society has achieved 1.2 million kgs up  from 800,000kgs, Wahundura Factory affiliated to Kamacharia society production has risen to  1.8 million kgs from 1.1 million kgs, Gatagua has managed 750,000 kgs up from 465, 000 Kgs.
