Prophet Owuor Claims He Warned Venezuela of US Intervention

Controversial Kenyan preacher Prophet David Owuor has claimed to have predicted the U.S. military intervention in Venezuela, two months before it happened.

In footage shared by the preacher,  Owuor describes a prophetic dream he allegedly received on November 16, 2025, just before departing Venezuela on November 17.

The self-proclaimed "Mightiest Prophet" detailed how he saw former President Donald Trump clearing Venezuelan land and parking an official presidential vehicle inside the nation, symbolising American takeover.

"After Donald Trump cleared the land, I heard Donald Trump saying that now we can start developing it," Owuor stated during the press briefing captured in the video.

He added that Trump entered the presidential vehicle, known as "the beast," and was shown where to park in Venezuela, with Trump declaring it would be his parking spot.

Owuor claimed he shared this prophecy with Venezuelan authorities, senior church leaders, and media personalities at the JW Marriott in Caracas before leaving the country.

The prophecy has gained attention following President Nicolás Maduro's detention by US forces in early January 2026, after Owuor had traveled to Venezuela at Maduro's personal invitation.

During his December 2025 visit, Owuor prayed for Maduro's protection and prophesied that no harm would come to him from US intervention.

"I must stand with the Lord on the Lord's side. The Lord is calling for national repentance in Venezuela," Owuor stated in the video.

Maduro had awarded Owuor the Presidential Medal of Honor for his spiritual work in Latin America before his subsequent detention and transfer to US custody.

The contrast between Owuor's prayers for protection and Maduro's actual capture has sparked debate about the prophet's credibility among supporters and critics alike.

Owuor connected the prophesied conflict toBiblical warnings in Matthew 24:7 about wars and rumours of wars between nations and kingdoms.

Meanwhile, the prophet faces mounting controversies in Kenya, where the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council has launched investigations into unverified miracle healing claims.

Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale reportedly stated that Owuor and doctors who attested to miracle cures could face detention if they cannot scientifically prove the healings.

Owuor's Ministry of Repentance and Holinesshas challenged the government to conduct a formal audit of documented healing cases while threatening legal action against media organisations.

However, it remains uncertain whether the circulating video showing Owuor's prophecy claim has been independently verified or not.
