The tea auction absorption has risen to 84 per cent, up from 51 per cent during the same period last year, highlighting stronger market uptake and improved demand despite ongoing challenges in the tea sector.Last year, government pricing policies caused a large build-up of stock at the Mombasa Tea Auction.
